Tularemia

Tularemia is a bacterial disease that is transmitted by handling infected animals, cantamination of the skin or mucous membranes with blood, insectbites, inhalation of contaminated soil, handling contaminated pelts or paws of infected animals. Symptoms are flu-like symptoms, ulcer formation at the site of entrance of the organism, lymph node enlargement, pneumonia. Can be fatal.
